Pop star, Rain, came in 1st place as the “Best acting male singer“, in an on-line poll. Community portal site, ‘dcinside’, conducted a poll from June 30th to July 7th titled, ‘Who is the best male singer that shows outstanding performance as an actor?’.
From a total of 20,409 votes placed, Rain managed to place 1st, with a total of 7,941 votes.
Kim Hyun-joong of SS501, came in at 2nd place with a total of 6,757 votes.
Lee Seung-ki came in at 3rd place, with a total of 4,472 votes.
Kim Jung-hoon of UN, Lim Chang-jung, and on Kye-sang of G.O.D also made it on the list following after the three. Personally, Lee Seung-ki is better at acting than Kim Hyun-joong and Lim Chang-jung should have placed in the top 3 but its pretty obvious he didn’t because he’s not an idol.

if one looks at it through popularity and the seniority of being in the entertainment business, then i say Rain certainly has an edge, but i’m sorry to say, Mr. BFF is not even in the same caliber with Lee Seung Gi when it comes to acting…
truthfully, when Shining Inheritance started, my reason for watching was Han Hyo Joo and for the first 2 episode, Lee Seung Gi did nothing for me [though he wasn't as bad as Mr. BFF] but by the third episode, boy… he certainly sold himself as a solid actor.
popularity-wise, LSG would probably fall behind Mr. BFF but he’s proven himself already with being a great singer, and with his recent drama, he’s also proven himself to be a great actor.

…Rain hands down but Hyunjoong wasn’t bad for a first time actor like Kim Jun…Lee Seungki has more experience than Hyunjoong though and deserves a second place…as for Junki, he’s an actor’s actor and also recently active as a singer not to mention a good dancer too…and Kim Bum can sing too…in short they are all good.

Rain, no question about it (remember Sang Doo?). As for Lee Seung Gi, he wasn’t bad in famous princess/7 princess (it was his debut role). Kim Hyun Joong can’t act (sorry to burst your bubble) but he sure is good to look at. Now if you judge people purely based on their acting ability rather than their popularity/looks the top 3 spots could be changed. But I sure love Yoon Kye-sang’s smile (I remember him from She’s 19).
So my top 3 would be: 1. Rain 2. Lee Seung Gi (going through the 1N2D phase) 3. Yoon Kye Sang
I’ve only watched Im Chang Jung in Sex is Zero and I didn’t like him (could be his character. So I my verdict is invalid).
I watched Kim Jung hoon in Goong. Although I felt he was better than Joo Ji Hoon none the less I wasn’t too impressed (Goong itself is so overrated).
Lastly, Kim Hyun Joong, cardboardish at best. I gave him my benefit of the doubt since it’s his first time. But boy! it was so painful to watch him screwing up at the simple things.
Hyun Joong is one of my favorite members from SS501, but this is quite outrageous.
People didn’t think properly with comments like, “he’s so cute!” Yeah, but just because he’s cute, doesn’t mean he can act.
Sure, they defend him with, “it’s only his first time, he’ll get better anyway.” But if he needed defending in the first place, that means he’s not as good as they all believe ..
