V.O.S leader, Park Ji-hun, has confessed that he’s taken and has a CHILD, with another on it’s way!
In a recent interview, Park Ji-hun revealed that he met his soon-to-be wife, Sun Myung-sun, seventeen years ago and have been living together since October of 2005. The two were unable to hold a wedding ceremony for the obvious reasons of him being a celebrity, but had their first son, Bit-chan, in June of 2006. The singer also stated that his wife is currently eight months pregnant with their second child, due this coming August.
During the interview, he stated that it wasn’t easy for him to reveal to the public that he was a father and that he’s sorry to his wife for making her live this long as a single mother. Park Ji-hun also stated,
While I was strongly feeling the desire to come forward with the truth and yearning to live a truthful and open life, I found a new company to work with. When I confided in them the situation I was in, they accepted me with warmth and open arms. They gave blessing to my cowardly heart and earned my trust. This is why, I’ve come to open up my heart and confidently confess all of this.
From the looks of it, it seems as though his previous agency, Star Empire, wouldn’t allow him to reveal the truth that he was married and had a child. However, V.O.S’s contract with Star Empire recently ended and chose to not re-new their contract. Recently, a representative of Star Empire was asked about the situation during a phone conversation and the representative stated,
Since Park Ji-hyun was planning to get married later this year, we were thinking of holding a press conference to reveal the news after he re-signed with our company, however, the contract was not re-newed.
It seems pretty obvious that Star Empire pressured Park Ji-hun into keeping everything a secret this whole time, no wonder V.O.S didn’t re-new their contract with them. Personally, I think he, as well as the other members of V.O.S, made the right choice by not re-newing their contract with Star Empire. Talk about a slave contract! He couldn’t even be open about a committed relationship he’s had for almost two decades.
Earlier today, Park Ji-hun left a word of apology to all of his fans for having lied to them for so long on his Cyworld homepage. Fortunately, his fans are taking the situation quite well and are actually leaving messages congratulating him, encouraging him and praising him for his courage.

I’m confused, why is it that Korean entertainers can’t tell the public they are dating/married/parents?? Shouldn’t it be a good thing that we all celebrate??
Because in korea once a celebrity admits that she/he is in a relationship, their stock value drops, because they can no longer give the illusion to fanboys and fangirls that they are still available, hence less endorsements, acting gigs and etc. That is the reason why most celebrities deny/hide their relationships until the very end.
It’s even worse for actors or actresses. Most management companies do not allow for them to go public.
And if the truth leaks out, they could get sued by the endorsement companies or lose out on good acting jobs espescially if they are popular celebs.
Which is why I dont blame the celebs for lying, because in admitting that they are dating someone, they could lose a lot, if not everything that they’ve worked hard for.

@ blahh: if his contract states that he can’t reveal his relationships with the public because it’ll affect his career & image, then he can’t say anything. otherwise it’s a breach of contract and he can get sued and possibly lose his career. you may think it’s ridiculous, but that’s because you and pjh have different values.
the fact that his gf stayed with him all those years and had a child with him was really understanding of her. she deserves this wedding. congrats to the couple!

THESE STUPID slave contracts are being regulated with deadlines etc by the Korean gov. because of all the scandal. When they start to let the actors have private lives,separate from the co. as the new law allows,this abridgement of personal rights will stop. its stressful to live a lie…..as the celeb suicide rate there attests, not to mention all the accidents from lack of rest etc.
