Do these new songs set the stage on fire?
Making their comeback on KBS Music Bank, 2NE1 brings a fresh arsenal of songs and their newly found “feminine charm” in an attempt to wow audiences. Probably the thing I am most grateful for is that they ditched the wonky street fashion that would get them shot on real mean streets, and have embraced more toned down ensembles.
Starting off with what I find to be the weakest track off the record, 2NE1 breaks out a chair dance for the song “Pretty Boy.” 2NE1 should really stop doing chair dances because, although they put in a good effort, it feels like there is something lacking in the performance when the dancer isn’t long and limber. Can’t really complain about “I Don’t Care” because it was fairly on par with their past “Fire” performances. The use of the screen above them is a good choice to make up for back-up dancers, especially when the choreography is somewhat lackluster. We need something to distract the eye.

I love, love their performance, each and everytime, they absolutely know how to ROCK the stage. I am loving everything, from CL’s hair, Minzi’s leather jacket, Dara’s cute outfit and Bom’s strong vocals and the cheoreography and the screaming fans.

I think they over performed “I Don’t Care”. I think it should have been laid back and not so “dancey”. The song reminds me of Lady Gaga’s “There’s Nothing Else I Can Say (Eh, Eh)”. I wish they would have just sat there and sang rather than trying to dance and sing. I knew they were going to over do this song. Bom sounded kinda bad.

CL’s look for “I don’t care” is a lot more appealing. The hair suits her.
Minzy is still my favorite, she’s really talented. Sandra is growing on me more too. Bom still has a great voice.
I’m not a big fan on their choreography, but the performance wasn’t bad.

I don’t see tehm as cheesy and cute especially because the lyrics of Pretty Boy and IDC are not meant to be cute lol Anyway, wow the girls are HOT! CL should keep he hair like that and Dara is so beautiful! I’m tryna find flaws but the live singing sounds just like the mp3 version (I thought dara wold be weak but dang, she proved me wrong!) I love that they have partners in the pretty boy perf and the IDC — I love how they’re acting,dancing and singing! YG congratulations – the girls’ FEMININE side is truly shown. Inki is next and I can’t wait for NEW CHOREOGRAPHY every week!!

I did always wonder how the new song would work on stage because it’s a much slower tempo. It’s not a ballad, but it’s not fast paced either, so being somewhere in the middle makes it a little hard to choreograph for live performances.
To see them come on such a long way is impressive though. They look so comfortable on stage and seem to be having a good time.
Oh, and I take back what I said about CL only looking good in that first hair cut she had.
the overuse of the word comeback is so annoying these days. the performances were enjoyable, though it could just be the songs themselves that i liked.. but does no one else find bom to be extremely awkward like all the time? like her lack of facial expressions, her body movement while she sings, and her voice itself often sounds like she’s straining if she’s singing & dancing at the same time. she’s obviously got the voice but i think she sounds better when she’s standing and singing a song than when she’s dancing as well. not trying to bash ’cause i think she’s got talent but i do think she’s a bit awkward.
They are so great!!!! I really in love of 2NE1, especially to Sandara Park. They are all goegeous and fantastic!!!!! We’re hoping that you’re album will be out here in the Philippines. We are always here Sadara to support you, Go..go..go Dara!!!! Go…go…go…2NE1!!!

overall, the group’s performance was nice. i like the PRETTY BOY part! i did not expect them to have a strong/fast choreo with I DONT CARE since it was somehow a smooth and slow tempo song. their stage is interesting!
