Brown Eyed Girls hit remixes

A lot of these are plain hit or “mixxes.”

Sound G” is out and it sounds good. This album is recommendable as the new tracks highlight the vocals of Brown Eyed Girls, and each remixes bring their own unique flavor to an old classic. Listening to some of the remixes in their entirety, not all of them are easily digestible for mainstream tastes, but they are definitely worth a try. I’ve decided to provide you with the original songs in a rough chronological order of their initial release as well, for you to fully appreciate the deviations of the remixes.

Haihm translates “Second” (Rebuild) sounds really discordant and it is hard to tell what the original sounds like. I have to say this is probably my least favorite because it made me second guess whether the track was broken or not.

Saintbinary translates “Hold The Line” (Sweet Purple Remix) really remix this song to the point of it not existing anymore. It is mostly instrumental with echoes of the song blended in.

Fraktal translates “Oasis” (Desert is Land Remix) actually sounds better than the original. While the original “Oasis” was a light-hearted summer song, this remix adds a new element of sophistication to the track.

DJ Cloud translates “L.O.V.E” (Cloud Remix) doesn’t really get exciting until a minute into the song, but the beats are quite good in this one.

East4a translates “You” (Soulsome mix) offers a bit of a tropical feel for me with the added percussion.

Hitchhiker translates “How Come” (Dynamic mix) makes this upbeat song slow down a bit for a more low key appeal that melds well with their city girl concept.

Junjaman translates “My Style” (Wet Dream Remix) is the remix that retains most of the qualities of the original. With a few additional beats and a muffled voice effect, this may appeal to those who don’t like remixes that completely overhaul the song.

wow..the L.O.V.E. remix is horrible. I voted for my style.

miryo’s outfit in the how come performance was super cute!
BEG sounds the best performing live out of all the other girl groups. these girls actually have talent, and aren’t brain dead clones of each other.

the how come remix kinda sounds like it could’ve been a house rulez song now that I listen to it again.
especially since they use other artists to sing their songs.

I like Oasis I like relaxing melodies. The remixes seem dated something from 95′ early 90′s techno mixes.
