Am I being picky or is lead blonde Jessica in fact not blonde?
Just in case the public forgot about the sure-to-be-popular “Legally Blonde” musical remake taking place this November in the COEX artium, teaser pics displaying the characters in full costume were released today. Girls Generation’s Jessica plays the infamous Elle Woods, who chases after hunky genius Emmett Forrest, played by Kim Dong Wook. 2007 miss korea Honey Lee and Kim Ji Woo are also cast as Elle’s energetic Delta Nu sorority sisters.
The musical’s character designers must be really good because although they’re just make-believe people, I already dislike them. And really, why is Jessica’s hair not blonde?
P.S. The Chihuahua cast as Elle’s dog is simply adorable!

I’m not a fan of Girl’s Generation and in my opinion I think their music sucks like so damn much and Jessica does not look like a blonde – she looks like a f***ing red head. No offense but the whole Legally Blonde Korea is just not going to work. They really should stop trying to remake movies from the US. It’s just really damn annoying when they are trying to hard to be like them (americans) who acted in this film.

I’ve seen the American musical, and I hope Jessica is up for this! Musicals are definitely not for people with okay voices; it takes alot to do well. There’s acting, dancing, lots of movement, all while singing! I hope Jessica has been training hard. Good luck to her!

I agree in that the very essence of the movie/musical is in the namesake so the fact that the lead is not exactly blonde is just unforgivable.
Secondly, I can think of a million other more interesting musicals/movies to do than this no-brainer.
