4C the Power is presenting people with the chance to learn from the Gamblerz, the 2009 Battle of the Year Champions on November 8, 2009.
For those of you who don’t know, Battle of the Year Champion is the most prestigious title a breakdancing group can receive. Korean dancers have emerged as a leading group of people who are known for their “power” moves, moves that most people associate with bboying like headspins, flips, etc.
So for those of you in Southern California who are interested in meeting this years champions, you can sign up for the event one of two ways. You can buy tickets at the door for $25 or you can buy it for $20 after sending in a completed application by emailing 4cthepower@gmail.com for an application.
Check out the video for more info.
Here’s a video of their winning performance.

wtf? caucasians didnt start break dancing & power moves…it was african americans & puerto ricans.
ppl always tryin to give white ppl credit for every damn thing!
Caucasians did not start breakdancing dummy get your facts right. It was African American and latinos.
I met bboy bruce lee for freee! hahahah
A lot of impressive power moves.
The choreography was pretty average. It really felt like they were stringing a bunch of power moves together.
I prefer choreography that actually says something other than, “check out our power moves, we kick ass.”
Yay for another Asian breakdancing crew in the USA…
HEY!
I had to watch a document on them in my English class (college). It was amazing. I had a hunch they would be the winners. It’s awesome to see every other crew scared of them and respecting them.
