2NE1’s Park Bom released her solo single and music video of You and I, which has been soaring through the Korean music charts. YG Entertainment wasn’t planning on Park Bom performing her single on music shows, but with the postponement of 2NE1’s full length album, Bom was given the chance to promote her single.
She made her debut on SBS Inkigayo on November 8th, and even though she isn’t with her fellow members, she nailed the performance.
Can Park Bom hold the stage on her own or does she need the rest of her group members? What do you think?

I don’t like her voices in 2NE1 songs. Well, I don’t like 2NE1’s songs, too synthetic. But she did very well and a lot better as a solo.

Bom has a very unique voice! i can’t imagine 2NE1 without Bom. she brings flavor to all 2NE1 songs!
if you’re not liking 2NE1’s songs, then you must be DEAF! you call their voices TOO SYNTHETIC? then you must not like most, if not all, K-POP groups who have very artificial voice qualities!

I think she still would’ve been given a solo, whether or not Dara’s was successful. She was definitely promised one even before her debut. They’re both really good. Dara’s voice may not be as powerful as Bom’s, but she brings something else to the stage. And she has the other members to back her, too. So it’s fine. I love Bom, the performance was good, she’ll definitely improve for this weeks show

Bom can definitely do it! she has a very powerful and soulful voice! i wish she’ll be more confident in her next performance. she seemed really nervous. fighting Bom!
BTW, Dara has her own thing going. she may not have a powerful voice, but she can definitely sing! she has improved a lot.
Dara has charisma that no other has. She’s the x-factor none can compare for even though her voice is not as strong, she can get away with it. Don’t tell she doesn’t have THE voice because she’s way better than anyone and can sing live, hit high notes. Everybody even anti Dara, watch her every move, every event she’s at. Honestly, I can even say she’s the most talked about 2ne1 member.
dara may be the most popular member of 2ne1 but it’s only because she’s pretty. i’m definitely not a fan cos i don’t think she’s that talented. maybe only at making ‘funny’ faces?
but i do love 2ne1 and hope that more attention and love can be given to the other members.

i kinda agree it’s her looks and personality i think that makes her so popular plus she has a big fan base in the philippines right? so she was kinda already known. but i’m not hatin’ just stating the kinda truth that out of all 4 of them she’s the weakest talent. bom is shyish so i wasn’t expecting a blowout but her voice was amazing. i’m sure she will get better with time. i like seeing her in the limelight for once.

I agree with everything you said. I like Dara and I think she brings a nice twist to the group with her voice. Dara gets some people’s attention from her looks and her large fanbase from before her debut. But Bom’s voice is outstanding and catches your attention almost immediately. She is my first favorite, aswell. She’ll do better and improve, she just needs to get used to being on stage alone with everyone watching her. It’s her shness thats holding her back.
Well, if DARA is famous only because she’s pretty and good at making funny faces, a lot of girls are more prettier, talented, funnier etc,etc. Even CL I could say is more than Dara could ever be, ah but then Dara will always be Dara. Plain truth and simple. And fans just love her the way she is. ADORKABLE and very,very LUCKY.

You guys stop bashing, Neither its bom, dara, cl, or minzie, their both talented. Each of them have uniqueness, their all popular. Why don’t you just support all of the 2ne1 members. We all know that the 3 of the members have a powerful voice but with different tones both have high vocals…if they have powerful voice sandara has the sweetest voice but can hit high notes. Sandara improved a lot comparing with her songs in the past. Just be happy for her that she gives her best to improve for the sake that she can entertain fans or even antis. Cl and minzie can rap and have high vocals, bom have high vocals, sandara have the sweetest and can hit high vocals. With the lost of 1 of the members will lack a great 2ne1 artist right. All of them brings flavor to 2ne1. Their all great and all of them plus sandara can improve more, because we have seen all of them improved their performance evry day and even sandara I never expect that sandara can dance great and can sing a high notes or even can sing better really she suck in the past but she proved us that she can improved us and entertain us and she can give us more and improve more. She doesn’t have to prove us anymore that she is a great singer because she already proved us and she just think and believe for herself that she can do more. Their all have uniqueness and their all great singers. We don’t have to compare 2ne1 members because their all great artist, their all have differences in terms of voice not just in apperance but talent of course. I don’t think sandara has the weakest voice, their all strong but in different ways. Just love all of them, loving 1 means loving all of them, if you bash 1 then it means you bash all. And also, YG knows his artist capabilities and talent. If he knows sandara’s voice isn’t strong and if he never saw that she doesn’t have capabilities she won’t be in 2ne1. I’m proud all of them because even though their a rookie group, just with in the month of their debut they performed well and they won a lot of trophies. Hope they will win in mama than fx because they deserve it more than fx. I know fx is a great group also but in terms of charisma, songs and trophies they deserve to win mama. They have even entered chanel V’s countdown their in number 4 right now as well as bigbang which is in number 2. We know that 2ne1 was supported by bigbang fans and fx were supported by suju and girls generation fans. Without these fans by other group they won’t be much that supported. Fx fans were supported by many fans of suju and gg and 2ne1 were supported by bigbang fans. But 2ne1 deserves to win mama because they did a great job and win 4 times countinously I think. All of their song hit the chart. Fx is really too early to win mama because they just debut recently, I know that their song is a hit also and their talented. 2ne1 worked very very hard for many months from the start of their debut this may I think and fx just debut just this october or november I think, what I just mean is that they debut recently they haven’t even done more. Comparing their winning 2ne1 won a lot than fx so 2ne1 deserves to win mama. Hopefully for how many months next year they can win. But for now 2ne1 deserves to win. Just cross all our fingers that 2ne1 will win the mama award. I’m gonna watch mama in channel v it was announce there that they will post it on november 21 @ 6pm
Also 2ne1 already proved that their not just a female version of bigbang but they can even be as great group even their not stated by many to be female version they just ALREADY proved that their doesn’t ONLY deserve to be known as female bigbang but of course 2NE1, ONE OF THE BESTEST IDOL GROUP IN KPOP. Fx was named as girl version of shiny, what I’ve heard?..hhhmmm… and they haven’t already proved to be FX and not just girl version of shinee. They were just supported by suju and gg fans and for what I think fx needs to work more, their talented, lachata is a great song but not that powerful they need to make more and hopefully can make a powerful song. When I saw and heard 2ne1’s 1st debut song I was addicted only the 1st day but in fx’s lachata I need to hear more to like their song, after how many lachata songs in my head then that the start liking it. 2ne1’s songs like fire, I don’t care, in the club and lollipop up to now really hit my head and addicted alot. fx just have lachata so its early for them to win even the support of suju and gg’s fans.
