It stands for “Code Name Blue.” They are a Korean indie band under the same management of F.T Island.
But, they are now gaining attention as their oldest member Jung Yonghwa plays Kang Shinwoo in the boy-band idol drama,” You’re Beautiful” (미남이시네요), starring Park Shinhye, Jang Geunseok, and F.T Island’s Lee Hongki. If you can’t recognize Jung Yonghwa, he’s the one wearing the Run DMC shirt (a wise choice by the stylist, by the way).
The band is composed of 4 young band members ranging in ages from 17 to 20 years of age. They released their album last August, gaining some recognition in Japan. Maybe after the drama, they’ll rise to higher popularity in their motherland.

Always got love for Korean indie bands crossing over mainstream. Props to them but I guess the drama is an awesome marketing tool.
I like them. Their music is unique and stands out compared to all the repetitive pop songs were hearing these days. Also, singing in English was a good choice, but I wonder if it would be even better in Korean (not that I’m complaining that they are singing in a language I can understand…lol!) Also, you can notice their accents/bad English pronunciation in the ballad song (the last song). I hope they do well. It is a time for change in the k-pop scene.

I saw them playing in yoyogi park before the release of their CD, they’re talented, that’s why I thougth they will not be succesfull, I wished them the best.

It’s so weird cuz after seeing Yonghwa on You’re Beautiful I googled him up and found out that he was in a band but I didn’t remember their name. And then someone I suscribed to on YT posted C.N. Blue’s album and I really liked it. My favorite song of theirs is ‘Teardrops in the rain’ it’s really nice, you should listen to it. His pronunciation isn’t the best but it’s a good song.

Anyway, the song of their band is pretty cool. I hope they get more known. They’re song’s not of the ordinary ones we hear nowadays.
