Is Rain the next Bruce Lee?

ninjaassassin_091111
Warner Bros. sure thinks so.

Rain is being considered for the lead role in the remake of Bruce Lee’s “Enter the Dragon“, the classic martial arts film made in 1973.

“Enter the Dragon” revolves around a lonely FBI agent who pursues a rogue Shaolin monk into the bloody world of underground martial arts fight clubs. In the original, Lee portrayed a martial artist who is drafted by law enforcement to participate in a martial arts tournament and infiltrate a drug smuggling operation run from a heavily guarded island.

Rain’s role as the ninja assassin has already gained acclaim from the select audiences who saw the special screening at Comic-con in July.

On a sidenote- Rain is 6ft tall and Bruce Lee was only 5′7. Will they shrink Rain on the bigscreen so he looks similar to the original actor?

“Rain’s already a living legend. Rain’s walking on his own path of becoming legend that the whole Korea would never foget.”

    Amen to the above…

Come on!!! NOTHING HAS BEEN CONFIRMED YET, RIGHT???
IT’S JUST A PROPOSAL, RIGHT? EVEN IF WB OFFER THIS ROLE TO RAIN, THERE’S A POSSIBILITY THAT RAIN MIGHT REJECT IT TOO!!! SO PLEASE, DON’T START BOMBARDING HIM!!

Who said the person who left that comment was Korean?
Let’s not be racist to other cultures
Especially when you’re not sure — and you’re on a forum about Koreans [hence the popSEOUL]
        Thanks.
If someone considers him a legend, let them
        I respect Rain a lot
I hope he does well in his acting career

Can we say..STEREOTYPE….do something else Rain..don’t keep putting yourself in these type of roles..

Hollywood is known to do this type of casting..I mean it can be good..but you want to venture onto something else that can expand your talents besides ‘martial arts’ all of the time…Hopefully your manager will see you have other talents and don’t keep giving you ‘martial arts scripts’….

He will go to military service for two years. It said on the Daily Apple that he will go to Military Service on April 2010 and he will have comedy-romantic drama again.

NO!!! Bruce Lee could never be compared with anyone, ANYONE. No matter how hot and delicious they are.

If this movie is made, it’s a disgrace to Bruce Lee. Sorry but a washed up pop star does not compare to a Legend.
