what did they do to this girl??? she has a really good voice, i think they ruin her, this is not her style. they just want to make some money and they give her that image. so awful! i love her when she sing the “you know”s rock version and her acoustic songs. that’s just disappointing…

Never heard of this girl until I read this article. I don’t like the song…and she has a squeaky voice. But she’s very pretty. ^^ I can’t really tell if her vocals are outstanding or not with just this song alone. XD

I am not a fan of the cutesy concept since it doesn’t show her vocals well but the girl is really young so if she wants to do this kind of genre once in awhile so be it. She has many years to do albums that show her vocal abilities, plus being 16ish years she can get away with the the cute thing once in awhile. No if she was in her 20s and trying this, that would be a whole other story.
Look who’s talking. Why are you so upset with her concept? IU is only 16 and she has not experienced harsh things in life, why push such feelings towards her choice of music? She’s at the age of any young and enthusiastic teenager who deserves to feel happy and sing happy music. Don’t listen to her if you don’t want to. In addition, her mini album is combined with both fast, fun music and ballads, which is balanced and enough for her. Of course through MiA, we all recognized her talent, but she’s too young to be pushed such responsibility, she admits that herself too. MiA is a great with depressing feel to it, obviously a happy girl like her wouldn’t want to be so deep into that type of feelings. The girl has a long future ahead of her, do you want her teenage memories to be ruined like other pop stars? I strongly believe she’ll change the concept as growing up. For the time being, let the girl enjoy herself.
K-pop doesn’t know what to do with her it seems. Why not just give her a guitar and let her walk around town playing and signing. Would be more interesting.
