Jun Ji-hyun can hawk almost anything- from tea to cosmetics. Now the CF queen is trying her hand at designing denim. She has teamed up with U.S. premium denim designer, True Religion to create a pair of jeans specifically targeted for the Asian market, “Gianna by True Religion.” (FYI: “Gianna” is Jun Ji-hyun’s easy to pronounce Hollywood name).

What this means is that the jeans are for those who are butt-less since the oversized back pockets carefully create the illusion of curves. However, if you are stumpy-legged, then these jeans are not for you. I should know, I have a pair of True Religions (not Gianna designed).

Gianna True Religion jeans will be sold at SK Telecom’s newest venture into the open market, 11th Street (in Korean) starting March 20th, 2008. And next year, the Gianna designed jeans will hit the markets in China in 2009. No word yet on price.

Gianna will soon make her Hollywood debut in the live-action remake of the Japanese anime “Blood, The Last Vampire,” directed by Chris Nahon. The film is now in post-production.

Um, we missed something. Didn’t Oh Ji-ho just make a comeback this year? And so far the only thing he’s been featured in is a SBS special where he wore a fat costume. I don’t think that qualifies as best dressed.

And although Han Hyo-joo won Best Actress at the 2007 Singapore International Film Festival for the role in the movie Ad Lib Night (아주 특별한 손님). I don’t remember her dressing particularly well. In fact, I don’t remember her at all.

This is just messed up.

Although, it is slim pickings for Best Dressed, these two actors would definitely not be our pick.

Han Hyo-joo and Oh Ji-ho won 2007 Korea’s Best Dressed Awards for “talents”. And Park Shin-yang and Park Jin-hee won Best Dressed among movie stars.

This week we saw Ivy, Bada, Norazo and Park Hyo Shin play the media by wearing unflattering outfits and it worked. It was a slow week in star romances compared to two weeks ago, but it looks like fans are still interested in Hyunbin’s girl – Hwang Ji Yeon and Lee Seo Jin and Kim Eun Jung were spotted together again.

In Korean media-sphere, the hype was mostly about the new drama series – the top ratings dramas, storyline, reactions, star effects, etc etc. H.I.T starring Go Hyun Jung has the highest ratings for the Monday/Tuesday time slot and the same for Witch Amusement starring Han Ga-In for Wednesday/Thursday. We are currently working on our reviews of these dramas. In the works is our “Who’s Who” section – analyzing the characters in detail, but as always we are open to suggestions!
