sez - If you want to study in Korea, it takes at least one year to get a grasp of the language (assuming that you don’t know any Korean) and probably another two or three years for your graduate degree.
But the length of your stay in Korea also depends on what you want to get out of it. There are a lot of people who go to Korea to teach English for a year or two to get while getting their share of Korean experience

i think my name says it all, thanx popseoul, its almost impossible for me to find anything about korean culture seeing as how im nigerian, plus when i ask some of my korean or asian friends they kind of just look at me weird, like who is this black girl trying to get in our culture, so its good to find a site like this that keeps me tuned in
ps. this isnt some crazy person thats like obsessed with the asian culture or asian people, my group of friends is multi-cultural( black, white, hispanic, asian, etc.) and im in tune with my nigerian roots(i even know the language), and other cultures, i just have an intrest in east asian countires: japan , korea, etc.

I haven’t heard anything regarding Rain receiving death threats - I think that’s a rumor and the more probably reason for Rain cancelling was the low ticket sales. FYI, he cancelled many other concerts in the US because of lackluster sales.

i ended up reading all of these comments. lol, i lve this blog, one word : entertaining. some of the comments are harsh b/c of the site’s opinions. i think it’s fun to hve a blog like this that’s speaks it minds and poke funs at things instead of being like “omg, I lve… and lve” and never have any opposing views on stars etc.

there are so many people that believe all koreans do plastic surgery. This is very untrue and is somewat becoming a steryotypical view. I just would like to encourage you to acknowledge your readers that korea is not a place full of plastic people.
