R&B singer, Amerie and Korea’s finest, Se7en have come together to record a new remix of Amerie’s hit single, “Take Control.” Both singers seem super sweet on camera - Amerie is cute at her attempts at Korean, “에므리 입니다”, and Se7en with his surprisingly good English. And the remix sounds fresh. Se7en sounds sexxxy.

The new single was released on May 14 for the Asian market. So far no signs of a music video.

Amerie is here in Korea to perform on 2 dates: May 24 & 25th, but the concert was suddenly canceled by Korean organizers, K2M Entertainment just a week before.

Back in late 2006, KBS reported that Se7en was to collaborate with half-Korean singer Amerie on the song “Take control” for her new album, “Because I love it.” Glad he didn’t. The new single is kickin! The video gives a nod to the 80’s cartoon series, “Jem, truly outrageous”, with our girl playing the character of Jerrica Benton (Jem’s alter ego) on a mission to assassinate a senator. Love the red dress that she wears!
