Every healthy male in Korea must serve 2 years of mandatory military service-and stars are no exception. While many of the stars seem to favor going to the military in their mid to late 20’s, perhaps thinking it would be easier, it’s not. The stress and physical hardship that they endure is the same as everyone else. So after being released from the army, some stars look worse for wear, while others become sexier than ever.
Who are those stars?
To endure 5 weeks of grueling military training, Eric Mun is stepping up on his workouts, says his management. One year shy of 30, Eric will have to keep up with boys who are 5-7 years younger than him and at their physical peak. We all know that life is going to be tough in the army when you are pushing 30. Goooood luck!
Eric is the first of the six Shinhwa boys to go off to fulfill his mandatory service on October 9, 2008 where he will complete his 5 week training in the boonies somewhere (Choong-nam).
Kim Dong Wan, a fellow member, will be the next to enroll sometime this year with Lee Minwoo and Jun Jin the following year.
