The former “Goong” star has officially joined the army to fulfill his civic duty as a Korean citizen on April 28, 2009.
Although most people may not recognize him due to his low profile in Korea for the past two years, Kim Jung-hoon still holds a steady fan base. With 800 fans present at his check-in center in Gyongido,the man has more fans than the bigger named stars who enlisted before him.
With his entrance into the army, only one thing is definite- the second part of “Goong” that many fans across the world have been hoping for will efinitely be on hold for another two years but then again, with Joo Ji Hoon’s recent fiasco it may indefinitely be on hiatus.
