Kim Jong-kook, who has stayed under the radar since finishing his military service in May, has now popped back onto the entertainment scene with news of his new album which is, according to his agency, about 70% finished and expected to be released in October.
Although the 31 year old has made a brief appearance in Japan at Showa Women’s University for a three hour fan meeting in appreciation for his fans who continued to support him while in military service, he has not made any other appearance since. Otherwise known as the “mosquito”, Kim Jong-kook has stated he will stick with his original (sounding) ballads to contrast the electric music and pop genres that are currently popular.
Considering his advanced age, he probably will need something unique to set him apart from the current crop of popular groups who are on average a decade or so younger than him.
Good luck
