Kim Jong-kook wants to comeback

Kim Jong-kook, who has stayed under the radar since finishing his military service in May, has now popped back onto the entertainment scene with news of his new album which is, according to his agency, about 70% finished and expected to be released in October.

Although the 31 year old has made a brief appearance in Japan at Showa Women’s University for a three hour fan meeting in appreciation for his fans who continued to support him while in military service, he has not made any other appearance since. Otherwise known as the “mosquito”, Kim Jong-kook has stated he will stick with his original (sounding) ballads to contrast the electric music and pop genres that are currently popular.

Considering his advanced age, he probably will need something unique to set him apart from the current crop of popular groups who are on average a decade or so younger than him.

Good luck

Choi Ji-woo returns as a goddess

Lucky!

Choi Ji-woo will be returning to the small screen. The comeback queen will star in the SBS new drama, “Oh my goddess” (오! 나의 여신님), which is expected to air in December 2008. The drama will tell the tale of life, love and work of a Hallyu star. Since Ms Choi is considered a Hallyu star, this role shouldn’t be too much of a stretch.

Hahm So-won is sagging

Some no namer named Hahm So-won is trying to scratch her way back to the music spotlight after 5 years. The 32 year old D-lister is set to release an album, “Cross” in April. That’s not the news.

The news is that she should refrain from wearing clothes that reveal her sagging butt. Instead of injecting fillers and botox in her face, she should use it in her rear view. What’s the use of having a firm face when your ass is sagging like an elephant’s butt?

Ms Hahm will be shooting a video with Thai star, James.

Shinhwa finally returns as one

20071203_shinhwa

Korea’s longest running boyband, Shinhwa is back after 11 months of solo activities to release their winter project album. The six Shinhwas look fresh with their new cuts and outfits, but they are no different from pretty boys populating the entertainment business these days. But I give them props for finding six different ways to hold, look and place a wine glass. Brilliant.
