Hallyuwood royalty that they are, Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young duck under cameras as they arrived in Incheon International airport from London on September 7^th from their 1 week pre-wedding honeymoon. The pair made full use of their time in the land of the Union Jack with a feature spread for the upcoming issue W Magazine (Korea). The concept of the photoshoot is based on a “marine” look. Don’t ask. But this will be their first “official” photos together as a newly-wed couple.

W Magazine generally has artsy types of photos, so it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with.

The engaged couple will tie the knot in front of 350 guests at the Shilla Hotel on September 28^th, 2008.

Traditionally, isn’t the honeymoon after the wedding?

Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young break the rules by taking off to London for an early honeymoon. After canceling their trip to Italy for a photoshoot, the couple decided to go to an extended trip to London since their schedules don’t comply for a honeymoon after their wedding.

To make full use of their time in London, the couple will also have a photo shoot for a magazine.

The couple will be leaving Korea on August 31st after a fan signing on the 30th for Kwon Sang-woo.

Four years ago at the 2004 Olympics when weight lifter Jang Mi-ran only won a silver medal, the 24 year old Olympian had the opportunity to have dinner with her dream man-none other than Kwon Sang-woo. During dinner, she promised the sexy star that she would bring home the gold at the next Olympics. And she kept her word.

On Saturday August 16^th, the amazing Jang Mi-ran not only won gold but she also set a world record in the over 75kg class. The gold medalist had no competition as she lifted a total of 326kg (140kg for the Snatch and 186kg for the clean and Jerk). Three hundred and twenty-six kilograms! That’s insane! I have a hard time lifting donuts out of the box (oooh my Krispy Kremes)

In a recent interview with the domestic news site, Newsen, actor Kwon Sang-woo (32) admitted that he wants to get married and have kids….eventually. When asked if he has a special woman in his life, he gave a cryptic reply of “even if I had one, I wouldn’t say. If I don’t have one, I would say anything either.” (translated)

Huh?

However, the sexy actor’s short term memory must be failing him because he added, “I have in mind a woman who I would like to marry.”

When did he stop? The sexy actor started smoking after filming his latest flick, “Fate” (2008) also starring Song Seung-heon. Perhaps Song’s sexy n’ buff body was too much for the equally sexy actor.

Not to be outdone with the recent shirtless offerings of hottie Song Seung-heon, Kwon Sang-woo shows off his body and his stunt skills for the upcoming movie, Destiny (trans: 숙명). Actually, both Song and Kwon did their own stunts to add to the realism of the action. If that means more naked body shots, that’s fine by me.

Kwon Sang Woo and Song Seung Heon are friends in the film Destiny but are they destined to be friends in real life? Maybe not.

The two heartthrobs are expected to fight in a drama battle since Kwon Sang Woo’s Dae Mool and Son Seung Heon’s East of Eden will air around the same time in May, fighting for the same viewers.

What does the perfect Korean man look like?

Kwon Sang-woo will make his debut as a singer on the OST for the current KBS 2TV drama, Bad Love. The buff actor will show off his singing skills on the Bad Love OST for his fans in Japan and the rest of Asia.

However, his singing was left out of the domestic version for the home market since the production of the OST was rushed (sounds familiar).

Hope his singing skills are as tight as his abs.
