You know that Chae Yeon is out of the loop when she is sporting on-stage fashions from 2007. While Lee Hyori has moved on to spandex, and Suh In-young cleaned up (but still looks like a man), the 28 year old pop star holds on to the black knee high leather boots, and striped tank top.
Chae Yeon performed at the 2008 Dongdaemoon Fashion Festival on September 5th 2008. The fashion festival runs until September 11th.
But this time, the older man is Chae Yeon’s dad.
Father and daughter are in Beijing as part of the cheer team for the Korean athletes participating in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
On August 11th, 2008, Korea has come away with a gold in Men’s Archery and Silver medal for Wang Ki-chun in Judo (73kg). Go Korea Go!

In a photoshoot for the future issue for the monthly magazine, Dazed and Confused (Korea), Chae Yeon admitted that sexiness arises from confidence. Ok, cool. But at the same time, the Hyori rival added that there is no sexiness behind a desk. What she means that there is nothing sexy about work. (Did I just defend Chae Yeon?) I agree. There is something inherently unappealing about being part of the rat race. The reason is simple- even though the rat race may someday end, you are still a rat.
Chae Yeon is the CEO of her DDM clothing brand, Bequem (pronounced “Bee-kwem”).
