Has YG Entertainment given up on their pet protege Se7en? Earlier this year, Se7en threw three preview parties for his first American debut album in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco only to have it postponed “indefinitely” aka never.
To make matters worse, Se7en’s “supporters” ditched him. Rap partners Three 6 Mafia have left him in the dust as they experience popularity with their summer anthem “Lollipop”. Music producer Rodney “Dark Child” Jerkins has moved on with The Pussycat Dolls‘ “When I Grow Up”. And in lieu of managing Verizon Wireless salesclerks, YG has bigger fish to fry with top showdogs Big Bang.
When will Se7en snap back to reality and realize that he needs to rebuild his career in Korea? Hopefully soon, but perhaps never.
