Ivy should have seen this coming.

The singer’s minihompy is being targeted by 2PM fans after her over-the-top sexy performance with Nichkhun on the 2009 “Mnet Asian Music Awards.”

Not only was her outfit very revealing, but she pulled 2PM’s Nichkun on stage for a very seductive performance in front of thousands of viewers worldwide!

As soon as Ivy’s performance was over, her Cyworld minihompy was bombed with hate comments from hardcore 2PM fans that said “Where did you come from?” “Do you want your minihompy to be terrorized?” “Why would you mess with Nichkhun?” and much more.

Ivy is being criticized from everything to her performance as well as her clothes.

However, there a few reasonable 2PM fans who are leaving Ivy more comforting comments such as “Don’t mind the hate comments” and “I apologize on their behalf.”

What was Ivy thinking? Is all this controversy good for her right after her debut?

Because education is important, one curious (stalker) fan decided to give a call to ex 2PM leader, Jaebum’s Korean university, Dankook University in Seoul, where the 22-year-old was enrolled. The fan found out the kicked out 2PM member  failed to submit documents requesting a leave of absence. The fan then asked if that meant he’s automatically expelled from the university. The office worker didn’t necessarily reply, but it is the university’s policy that if a student is absent from the university without submitting documents for that absence, that student can be expelled from the program. However, students expelled in this manner can be re-admitted after review.

Jaebum left Korea on September 8, 2009. Registration for classes at Dankook University ran until August 28th, adding or dropping courses until September 11, and absence report cutoff was until the 30th. Most fans assumed that Jaebum was too preoccupied to handle these matters.

Netizens started writing on the Internet, “Jaebum withdrew from Dankook and is preparing for university in America,” and “Jaebum is taking this opportunity to settle in America, it doesn’t seem like he’ll come back,” though there was no real confirmation of this news.

When the media learned of the fans’ findings, they also started inquiring to the university about Jaebum’s real status. Dankook University answered, “For privacy reasons, we cannot check.”

Earlier this month, the six members of 2PM filmed a CF for Market O brownies. Some netizens thought that Market O was taking a bit of a risk investing in a 2PM without Jae-bum (even the fans aren’t buying), but the ab-baring CF is a huge success! So big, that Market O even released a NG reel:

In the interview, we also find that Jun-su gets fashion tips from G-Dragon and skin care tips from Wondergirls’s So-hee. Yet, the rest of the members feel Taec-yeon has no fashion sense at all. At least his pants weren’t too tight.

No Jae-bum, no album purchase.

On November 12th at 7pm, Jae-bum fans put up posters around the Seoul City Hall Station, stating they will not purchase 2PM’s album if Jae-bum isn’t back. Clearly, these hottests are stating that they are unhappy with 2PM returning to the music scene without their, now ex-leader, Jae-bum.

For those that can’t read Korean, the flyer states,

2PM, We won’t buy unless there’s 7 members.

We will take down these posters ourselves at 10pm, so please do not take them down.

What a way for Jae-bum fans to declare war against JYP, but will it help much?

The 6 member 2PM, who recently had their first comeback performance at Mnet’s “Oh Good” concert has announced that they will refrain from taking part in any variety programs for the time being. It looks like the boys will be keeping things serious by focusing on their stage performance, for now at least.

A JYP Entertainment official stated,

For the time being, 2PM will refrain from taking part in any variety programs. Since there’s the whole issue with Jae-bum at the moment, we as well as all the members have agreed to this decision. However, 2PM will continuously be promoting their new album on various music programs.

Apparently, the boys are still very cautious about returning to variety programs, while laughing and smiling, in front of angry fans. Do you think this is a wise choice or are they making the wrong choice by letting down 2PM fans that have been patiently awaiting their return?

For those of you that weren’t satisfied with the fancam of 2PM’s comeback performance at Mnet’s “Oh Good” concert, 2PM has made their first mainstream music program comeback on “Music Bank”.

Now you can see a better version of the “zombie” dance fans are so ecstatic about and watch as the boys make a human pyramid in their oh-so-ugly suits. Despite a large number of “Hottests” boycotting against a 6 member 2PM and purchasing their first album, it looks like the 6 boys may just have won over those fans’ hearts with their performance. Just listen to those fan girls scream.

2PM had their first comeback performance as a 6 member group, at Mnet’s “Oh good” concert, on November 12th. The 6 boys finally made their return to the stage with “I Hate You” and their new title track “Hearbeat“. Their comeback performance was great but the boys can really do without the ugly suits and awkward pony tails.

On the November 12th episode of MBC’s “Golden Fishery,” JYP opened up about  Jaebum:

“When the news about his anti-Korean statements was first released, I believed that the level of criticism against him was too extreme. People even petitioned for his suicide. But after he left for America, the public opinion changed, saying ‘the translation was misleading and he did not do anything wrong.” It was like he actually did not do any wrong. His thoughts and mine on this matter are the same. It is somewhere inbetween. What he did was not especially horrible, but it was wrong enough that we couldn’t just ignore it and pretend it didn’t happen. It was a huge mistake. Especially for a performer, who sings, dances and performs art. We are the ones who connect different cultures, and he cannot disrespect people of a different culture like that. I believe that what he said was very wrong.

“Is Jaebum a bad kid? No, he is very kind. However, in the past, his attitude was pretty disrespectful, telling me to my face that he can succeed only if he doesn’t do a song written by me. Still, I liked Jaebum despite his bad attitude, because he never lied; he couldn’t lie. And then, he continued to change. Now, he is a different person from who he was back then. I do agree that Jaebum of the past hurt many Koreans with harsh words, and Jaebum thinks the same way. Because of that shame, he couldn’t get back on stage. But the other members still had to perform, and Jaebum did not want to drag 2PM down. That is why he said, ‘Hyung, I want to go back to America.’ If I were him, I think I would have made the same decision.

“If both Jaebum and I thought that accusations against him were wrong, then we would have fought until the end. But even Jaebum thinks that it was a great wrongdoing. If the media and the fans feel any love or understanding for Jaebum, then the best they could do is let him rest. He is taking time to think over what he did wrong, so letting him do so would help.

“To help him, what I can do is help him continue taking dancing and singing lessons, to continue training as an artist. When he wants to be return to the stage, then I will help him do so. When he comes back, Jaebum will come back as a part of 2PM, as all the members want it this way. Neither Jaebum nor the other members want him to return as a solo artist.”

Finally, JYP said, if Jaebum returns, he will return to 2PM. This is what both Jaebum and the other 2PM members want.

Wondergirls’ Ye-eun also expressed her understanding of Jaebum’s past experience. From performing America, she could see how living in a foreign country could be difficult. “Jaebum came to Korea at a really young age, I thought about how difficult that could be.”

In the end, Jaebum’s exact return has not been confirmed, but he will return. Perhaps the earlier news reports were just to stir interest in the episode.

Late last month, JYP visited Jaebum in America to give greetings and support to him during this difficult time. It is possible that at that time, JYP talked with the exiled member about the possibility of re-joining 2PM?

On a recent taping of MBC’s “Golden Fishery” (황금어장), JYP disclosed that Jaebum will return! OH MY GOSH!

This is the first official public announcement of Jaebum’s return, though JYP did not disclose exact details. Also, how exactly Jaebum will fit into the picture with 2PM, JYP has kept mum. Instead, the producer asked for the public’s understanding. So, nothing is certain on whether Jaebum will be joining his 2PM members for the new album.

The statement was made during the show’s “Knee Drop Guru” segment, through which many other celebrities have used to clear up rumors and reveal their true intentions.

Hot off the press, 2PM has just released their music video for “Heartbeat,” and it’s … amazing.

The dance portraying puppetry is well-coordinated to the beat of the music. The style seems more like contemporary dance instead of a music video. And of course, the MV ends in a truly 2PM-esque way with the b-boy-inspired acrobatics .

Still, 2PM doesn’t feel quite the same without Jaebum.

2PM officially released the full album today through internet music portals at 1:59 pm.

2PM’s new title track “Heartbeat“, which was produced by JYP himself, using a person’s actual heart beat as the main tune, has been released on various portal sites, earlier today. The musical blend of a human heart beat, drum beats and orchestra give a whole new feeling and unique sound to 2PM’s album.

2PM’s full first album, consisting of 13 tracks, will be released offline this coming November 13th.

It’s sad to see Park Jae-bum missing from 2PM, but what’s been released has been released. Here’s the full album for all you 2PM fans out there that have been waiting for the release of the their first album.
