On November 17th, Girls Generation’s (SNSD) Jessica was a featured guest on SBS “Strong Heart“. On camera, she confessed to three major mistakes she has made on stage, and offered an official apology towards SNSD leader Tae-yeon.

Jessica talked about the incident during a “Tell Me Your Wish” performance when her shoes flew off. She revealed the time she screamed while performing “Gee” because the firework effects on stage popped too loud. She goes on to mention the faulty lip syncing for a “Way to go!” performance when her part kept repeating due to the damaged track.

Going on to confront Tae-yeon, Jessica revealed that, “When we all sing together, I sometimes don’t sing. When SNSD is on stage, there are solo parts and parts we sing all together. Even if our throats are in bad shape, Tae-yeon and I have to sing loud. This is a secret but sometimes I don’t sing at those moments. I’m sorry to Tae-yeon. I want to officially apologize!“

Oh, Jessica. You need to be more responsible for holding up your end of the bargain; you can’t expect Tae-yeon or the other seven girls to cover your slack.

Recently, Girls Generation (SNSD) member Yuri’s family photo has been circulating online and this is the first time we get a glimpse of her older brother. Check him out.

He’s not too bad, although he looks like his style inspiration is John Travolta from Saturday Night Fever.  Maybe if he tossed the chunky necklace, got a better haircut and shaved off the peach fuzz, he would look presentable in 2009.

This family photo is said to have been taken after Yuri’s debut. Girl doesn’t look like her parents, or her brother..

Are you telling me these little girls turned into THESE girls?

Girls Generation’s Sunny and Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-in revealed their middle school graduation pictures on SBS’s “Strong Heart.” Sunny was very shocked to see the photo. Ga-in also was embarrassed, stating, “I also can’t even look at this picture for more 3 seconds.” That’s a serious image issue!

These photos reveal the “touch-ups” (plastic surgery) these girls made to their faces since the middle school days, especially changing the nose and jawline.

Do you see any other “improvements” the girls made? Personally, I think their hairstyles improved a lot!

While filming an upcoming episode of, “Hello Baby” on KBS JOY, the Soo Young and Yoona of Girls Generation played a truth game that made them reveal their ideal man.

During the same game, Soo Young and Yoona confessed that their ideal man is the ever-so-popular Lee Seung-ki.

They playfully fought over who could win his heart, and between the two, Yoona might have a bigger advantage. On a past episode of “Strong Heart” recorded in October 2009, Lee Seung-ki supposedly showed some interest towards her.

Holy colors Batman!

As if SM Entertainment darlings Super Junior and Girls Generation weren’t cute enough, both groups are set to endorse the newly launched clothing brand SPAO. Though a full catalog has yet to be released, eager fans have gotten a hold of a few promo shots and by the looks of things, colorful fall/winter gear with a touch of All-American prep seems to be the theme.

For the girls, that means that brightly winter staples (like down jackets and tights) are the ticket. As for the boys, brightly-colored hoodies and accessories are a go.

And if neon yellow tights aren’t your thing, it looks like the rugby shirt is making a comeback. Why not give the prep look a try…though I highly suggest you skip the helmet. That may be a look that only Si-won can pull off.

What a name for a movie.

Of course in Korean, the title of the movie is “Chungdam Fortuneteller,” but that just sounds boring like tofu.

The VIP screening for the romantic comedy, “Sexy Bosal” brought out some familar faces: Lee Hyori (above) Kim Jong-gook, Lee Chun-hee, Tiffany and Suyoung, Marco, Park Jung-a and more.

Directed by Kim Jin-young, “Sexy Bosal” stars Lim Chang-jung and Park Yeh-jin. The film will open on November 11th.

Seungri of idol group, Big Bang will be going off to college in the new Spring 2010.

The maknae will enter the Performing Arts and Film Department at Chung-ang University along with Yuri from Girls Generation (SNSD).

Supposedly, the future classmates passed the college entrance exams at 23:1 odds.

Seungri had quit highschool after debuting in Big Bang in 2006. However, the maknae managed to get his highschool diploma this past May.

Taeyeon of Girls Generation (SNSD) shows off her present-an oversized cuddly white bear at the studio for her radio show, MBC “Taeyeon and Close Friends” on October 21^st. The sender has not been identified but there was a card attached to the bear that read, “Dry for 2?3 days when washed.”

Why would they do that?

Girls Generation team up with rival new girl group, f(x) to showcase the LG Cyon’s “New Chocolate Phone” at Crown Hotel on October 15, 2009. The two ido groups recorded different versions of song “Chocolate Love” to promote LG Cyon, “Chocolate Love” mobile phone.

Would rivalry between the two groups lead to more popularity even though they are under the same SM label?

Probably the easiest way to become an idol star is to have family member who already is one.

Case in point. Sandara Park of 2NE1’s younger brother, Park Sang-hyun has hooked up as member, “Chun-doong” of the hyped up boy group, “MBLAQ” produced by Rain.

The little sister of Jessica from hit girl group, Girls Generation (SNSD) has just debuted in the new girl group, f(x) as Krystal.

And Kim Hyung-joon’s (SS501) brother, Kim Ki-bum belongs to the boy group, U-KISS.

So what’s tip #2 on how to be an idol star? Just audition.SM and JYP are both looking  for fresh blood.

The biggest concert of the year, the 2009 Dream Concert packed in idol fans into the World Cup Stadium on October 10th. The 3.5 hour concert featured 17 of your favorite pop acts: Girls Generation, KARA, Jewelry, f(x), 2NE1, 4Minute, Tiara & Supernova, Super Junior, Big Bang, 2PM, 2AM, MC Mong, Park Hyo-shin, Kim Tae-woo, Chae-yeon, SHINee and Wheesung.

And since the weather is turning cooler, the pop acts have followed suit by turning to black fashions to blend into the equally darkened stage. With all the black, how are we supposed to  tell who is who?

Dare I say “sexy?”

Today, teaser pics were revealed for the soon-to-be-cult-classic KBS2 reality-variety show ”Invincible Youth.” As we previously reported, the comedians of 6 girl groups (Girls Generation, KARA, Brown Eyed Girls, 4minute, T-ara, Secret) are coming together for, essentially, the Korean version of the “Simple Life,” which starred heiresses Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton suffering, well, the simple life. The girly ladies will be taken from their Seoul idol lifestyles into the rural Korean outdoors to ironically perform manual labor and live the simple lifestyle. How will they bear without makeup? No glam squad for their aesthetic needs? No five star hotels? Sound like an utter riot. Brown Eyed Girls member Narsha (the oldest in the group) joked that she’ll “put [makeup] on secretly.” Check out some the hilarious transformations~
