Every healthy male in Korea must serve 2 years of mandatory military service-and stars are no exception. While many of the stars seem to favor going to the military in their mid to late 20’s, perhaps thinking it would be easier, it’s not. Stories on gambling have a certain forbidden appeal since it’s illegal here in Korea.

And since gambling is not allowed, it makes for an interesting story.  ”All in” to “Tazza” the movie and now the remake for television, ”Tazza”, starring Jang Hyuk, Han Ye-seul, Kim Min-joon, Kang Sung-yeon were dressed in black for their press conference on September 8th.

The gambling drama will be in the same prime time slot against sexy Song Seung-heon’s “East of Eden” and Kim Min-hee’s ”Love and Marriage”. Tazza is expected to air on September 22nd 2008 on SBS.

Get ready for a new SBS drama starring Jang Hyuk, Han Yeh-seul, and Kim Min-joon.

The trio take the lead in the highly anticipated television production of “Tazza,” based on the 2006 film of the same name (starring Kim Hye-soo). Tazza” will takeover food drama “Gourmet” in the Mon-Tue evening slot.  Filming for the drama will begin at the end of July 2008. And no date has been confirmed for when the drama will air.  The drama is expected to debut in the fall.

The Korean term “Tazza”, pronounced “ta-jja” refers to someone who is a good gambler.
