Now we know why Rain went to Beijing.

Sporting a new and unflattering mullet, Magic Feet will make a surprise performance at the closing ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics on August 24th 2008. As the representative for Korea, Mr. ESL has been preparing his performance in secret. Why prepare in secret?

Ninety-one thousand people are expected to attend the closing ceremony for the Beijing Olympics and millions more will watch the performance.

Good luck. Let’s hope Rain keep his English skills to himself, you know (controlling my mind and menu with chicken breasts and vegetables, you know -this will never get old!).

Closing ceremony for the 2008 Beijing Olympics will air at 8:00pm (local time in China) on August 24th 2008.

Choi Min-ho scooped up Korea’s first gold medal in the Beijing Olympics with his easy sweep in the Men’s 63kg Yudo (Judo) competition. The cutie may be king of yudo, but in terms of selca, the guy is still an amateur. First, you have to make it seem like someone else is taking the picture for you. And second, with a body that can give Kwon Sang-woo a run for his money, we want a very clear and close-up shot.

Korea’s “marine boy,” Park Tae-hwan, wins a shining silver medal for the Men’s 200m freestyle on August 12th, 2008 at 11:20am (Korea time). Already, all the female celebrities, including Lee Hyori, Sun-ye, Nam Kyu-ri and skater Kim Yuna have sent their love and congratulations to the Olympic champion.

This is Park Tae-hwan’s 2nd medal after his gold medal finish on Sunday for the Men’s 400m freestyle.  Next up, marine boy will compete in the 1500m

But this time, the older man is Chae Yeon’s dad.

Father and daughter are in Beijing as part of the cheer team for the Korean athletes participating in the 2008 Summer Olympics.

On August 11th, 2008, Korea has come away with a gold in Men’s Archery and Silver medal for Wang Ki-chun in Judo (73kg). Go Korea Go!

Choi Min-ho won the gold medal for yudo (Men’s 60kg) on Saturday, August 9th 2008. The 28 year old swept the competition effortlessly in a single move. Watching him was amazing!

Accepting his gold medal on the stand, Choi Min-ho had tears streaming down his face. Just imagine all those hard years of training finally paying off in a glorious gold Olympic medal.

Also the women’s archery team of Ju Hyun-jung, Yoon Ok-hee and Park Sung-hyun (left to right) had no competition for the gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics yesterday.
