Posing for Calvin Klein, the concept of the photo shoot was ‘sexy and modern’. The combination of snug  jeans and puffer jackets juxtaposed with seductive poses brings out her inner model. And we all know that her jeans fit her like a glove.

Although the concept plain jane and the clothes are basic, Shin Mina puts in her all to make it pop!

The “Style Icon Awards” took place on November 11, at Namsan Seoul Tower Special Air Dome and the celebrities graced the ceremony with their holy presence and some questionable attire (Suh In-young anyone?) .The voluptuous Kim Hye-soo was awarded the “Icon of the Year” award. Woman knows how to flaunt what her mama gave her!

Fierce fashion idols 2ne1 won the female singer awards! The MCs for the event was Suh In-young and Baek Ji-yeon. Now you’ll be the judge, who is in and who is out?

This is a tough one for me, although Shin Min-ah is showing some leg, what’s up with the go-go boots?

But this Gossip Girl Leighton Meister (aka Blair Waldolf) spiced it up with a similar pattern of jeweled leggings and was proudly showing her twins.

In a survey conducted from July 10th to the 16th, Koreans were asked to name the movie actor or actress that they would want to have a summer getaway with. The winners were Ha Jung-woo and Ha Ji-won!

Ha Jung-woo stars in the summer sports Olympic flick, “Ski Jump“ (국가대표), about the plight of the Korean national ski jump team. It released in South Korea on July 29th on the big screen.

Ha Ji-won stars in a different kind of summer flick, the blockbuster action-disaster movie, “Haeundae” (해운대). It was released July 22, 2009 and is currently playing in theaters in South Korea.

Popular soju ad queen, Shin Mina, came in second place. The battle between the two leading ladies will continue with the release of “A Million” (10억) in August. Perhaps the ratings would have been different if the premiere of “A Million” had been closer to the time of the survey.

The list of actors and actress chosen are all stars of this summer’s releases, which include monster/horror flicks, “Chaw“ (차우) and “Living Death“ (불신지옥), and the romantic melodrama “Five Senses of Eros” (오감도).

Shin Mina is the body and face for the “Miracle Blue” campaign for Calvin Klein. Squeezed in impossibly tight skinny jeans (is that a size -1?),  the CK pictures of the model/actress  are being featured in the June issue of Marie Claire Magazine (Korea).

Is that 18.5 out of 20?

No, it’s the percentage of alcohol in soju. Every time the soju companies reduce the alcohol levels in their drink, the liquor companies make the excuse saying that they are thinking of the people’s “health.” Uh huh… that’s why there is still 18.5%.

I digress.

Shin Mina is the face for Jinro “J” soju, which is targeted towards all drinkers who want a more smoother taste with the lower alcohol levels.  But we all know that drinking irresponsibly will result in regret the next morning…. right?

Shin Mina puts on her best behind for the newest Calvin Klein denim ads.  The slick s-line will be featured in the March issue of W Magazine (Korea).

Rumored girlfriend of Joo Ji-hoon, Shin Mina does some catalog work for the Spring 2009 collection of  domestic brand “SI.” And unfortunately for the brand, the clothes all look like recycled stuff from a few years ago.  The ugly mustard yellow and peach are colors that I thought would never come back. But unfortunately, the unflattering mustard is being resurrected.

As for the remaining outfits, you can more trendy outfits shopping at the night markets in Dong-dae-moon than settling for the clothes here.

With an upcoming flick, “Kitchen” with Joo Ji-hoon, actress Shin Mina seems to be everywhere. Woman is gracing the pages of Gentlemen’s Quarterly (GQ Korea) for its February issue. Check out the slick pictures by Zo Sunhee.

Covering her face to muffle her laughter, Shin Mina and co-star Joo Ji-hoon are having the time of their lives at the press conference for their new movie, “Kitchen.” Held at Yongsan CGV theaters, Shin Mina confessed that the best part of the movie was when Joo Ji-hoon and Kim Tae-woo were fighting each other for her. The 24 year old actress added that as a girl, having 2 guys fight it out is a good thing.

“Kitchen” tells the tale of a fund-manager turned chef who opens a restaurant with Joo Ji-hoon’s character and becomes involved in a love triangle with Shin Mina’s character. The love story opens on February 5th, 2009.

Food and love usually go together….

Joo Ji-hoon stars in another foodie film with Shin Mina. The  new romantic film called,  “Kitchen,” is directed by Hong Ji-young. The story follows the life of a gifted chef, played by Joo Ji-hoon, who has studied the art of cooking in France and another character, played by Kim Tae-woo, who gives up his fast-money career track as a fund manager to pursue his love of cooking. And of course, we have Shin Mina who becomes the center of the love triangle.

“Kitchen” will sweep into theaters in February 2009.

I am always amazed at the miraculous power of hair, makeup and clothes.

Looking like she’s only 12 years old, Shin Mina holds up the Orbis skincare advertisement of her womanly glamorous self . The difference between the pictures is so great that they look like completely different people.

The Go Go 70’s star was at hand at the Myongdong store opening for Orbis on November 8th.
