For his upcoming drama, “Cain and Abel”, So Ji-sub spent one week in the Mongolian desert to shoot a scene where he is lying in the sand reaching out to the sky. The drama crew flew 4 hours north west from Shanghai on November 23rd for the shot. Wouldn’t it be just cheaper to add computer graphics.
The drama, Cain and Abel will air on Korean televisions everywhere in February 2009. Also starring is Chae Jung-an and Shin Hyun-joon.

So Ji-sub and Chinese star, Zhang Ziyi will be hooking up for a new Korea-China co-produced film, “Sophie’s Revenge” (’소피의 복수’). There is no word yet to which character the Korean actor will take. However, he is scheduled to be in China for 2 weeks for filming.
The romantic comedy, “Sophie’s Revenge,” produced by CJ Entertainment, is expected to be released in 2009.
