Looking rather puffy at the premiere of her new drama, “To love like them” (trans: ‘사랑한다면 이들처럼’) at CGV theaters at Apku on the 22nd, sexy star Lee Hyori told the press that she had practiced hard for her role. Ok, that’s great, we will see how much she has improved when the drama comes out. But did anyone notice that she is looking rather puffy faced? It looks like her dermatologist used a heavy hand on the filler needle. Look at her chin, neck and cheek…. it definitely looks like she has had some very recent work done. This is what she looks like close up, but from farther away, she looks fresh and youthful.*
FYI, among the popular procedures in Korea to fill out those wrinkles and sunken areas are (1) harvesting and inserting your own fat, which is usually taken from the butt area (extra bonus). This procedure is suppose to last 1-2 years. (2) Restylane, a filler derived from hyaluronic acid, is a quick way to plump the lines and the effects last up to 1 year.

She may be the nicest person on earth but my cousin who met her said she is not that pretty close up. She has purple gums (either from teeth straightening or smoking), has very bad skin and wrinkles around her eyes.
She is human like any of us but with more money to fix things not that I begrudge her that–she is a public figure after all.
