Everybody knows that Han Ji Hye and Lee Dong-gun hooked up while filming My Boyfriend is Type B (fyi, this refers to the blood type, not the personality type) and that they’ve been together ever since, but it’s always nice to have some kind of confirmation to couple these two together. On Sunday, Han and Lee were seen watching Lion King together holding hands.Awww …how cute right? Well, not really. I think this is a publicity stunt set up by their PR reps to increase their market-value.
Bluntly stated, Han Ji Hye and Lee Dong-gun are on the ropes in terms of their acting careers. Lee Dong-gun’s latest semi-drama/music video If in love…like them with Lee Hyori tanked and Han Ji Hye’s drama Cloud Stairs almost broke the lowest tv rating record last year with less than 5% Nielsen ratings. Obviously, they needed something to boost their popularity and there’s nothing better than a romantic relationship to spark the media fire.
Han Ji Hye and Lee Dong-gun should be thankful that they have smart PR reps and each other to fall on just in case their dramas fail.

I thought it was always public knowledge that they have been together since Sweet 18 ~ but I guess announcing it now does have some media value? I didn’t think anything they did was good except for Sweet 18 -__-;;
Its sad that this is thought of as a publicity stunt bec ldg and hjh may not announced their relationship thru a press conference but it has always been known that they are together. I dont think this is a work of their management, just try to check hjh’s site she has always posted pics of them together w/c in itself is a revelation of them being together.

This is no celebrity stunt and if left to their own devices, they would have opted NOT to reveal the status of their relationship publicly. It is because of the recent rumors that spread hinting an off-camera relationship between LDG and Lee Hyo Ri that she’s actually his unnamed “H” girlfriend, that LDG decided to name his real life girlfriend to clarify matters and to prevent HJH from getting hurt by all the rumors. And HJH broke off ties with her former management company BECAUSE they wanted to exploit her private relationship with LDG, her current boyfriend. Unless you know something more factual, it would be wise for you not to be so casual about the kinds of comments your’re alleging. Neither one are “on the ropes” career wise. HJH and LDG are currently in the process of filming another movie (not together) and LDG will probably work on another television drama before he has to report for mandatory military duty. And both are highly in demand for their work.

LDG and HJH don’t need desperate measures and PR stunts to promote themselves. They were BORN to succeed and be popular especially with their God-given talents and not to ignore both their down-to-earth good naturedness.
I admit being crazy for LDG (starting with LOVERS IN PARIS), but after watching SWEET 18, I could understand how and why he and HJH fell in love off-set, too.
