Do you remember our post about unnie poster getting plastered all over hot spots in Seoul last week? Within few days of our initial post, the crying and smiling unnie posters were replaced by two other posters, eventually revealing its purpose. Apparently, the unnie poster was a marketing gimmick for new singer Rinz aka Min Hyo Rin. Min Hyo Rin is a CF princess who is also referred as “post Han Ga-in” because of her luxurious nose. Don’t ask me how my fellow Koreans determined what is and what is not a luxurious nose or because I have no idea but there are only two people in the entire country with this luxurious nose and they are Han Ga-in and Min Hyo Rin. No surprise here.
But what surprised everyone was Rinz’s musical debut. Nobody expected the CF star to sing and anticipated the worse, but to every-body’s surprise Rinz’s remakes of Mika Nakashima’s “stars” and Juliet’s (Korean pop group from the late 90s) “wait for me wolf” were actually somewhat decent. Welcome to the pop world Min Hyo Rin!
PS: Goong fans, this Min Hyo Rin is not Goong’s Min Hyo Rin aka Prince Shin Goon’s (Joo Ji Hoon’s) first love - that Min Hyo Rin was a character’s name and this Min Hyo Rin is the possessor of the luxurious nose.
hahahahaha. Sad to say, but I WAS thinking that name is familiar…oh the disease that is kdramas.
can anyone tell me more what is considered a luxurious nose? i know jackie chan nose is considered a wealthy nose as its huge!!!

the smiling & crying posters have nothing to do with her album - in fact, it was just a smart marketing move to raise interest~
