Yun Eun Hye’s new drama, Coffee Prince is currently dominating the Monday/Tuesday line-up with 19% Nielsen rating. The plot itself isn’t any different from a typical Korean trendy drama (love triangles, chaebols, first love, etc etc), but Yun’s character, Eun Chan adds a fun twist to it, which makes the drama pleasantly entertaining. Yun pretends that she’s a guy, not intentionally, but after an interesting turn of events and she puts up with this gender mistake (?) it in order to provide for her family.
So far, my favorite scenes were her Yun’s eating scenes because they were so unexpectedly funny. In the first episode, she had an eating contest with her younger sister’s boyfriend (?) and she finished five bowls of jajangmyun in one sitting. She ate fried kimchi rice with a spoon spatula at Gong You’s house and she also ate pork off the ground. Honestly, it an overkill to have these excessive eating scenes in almost every episode, but I understand why it’s necessary. Development of Yun’s drag king role is dependent on her undying appetite because it acts as a confirmation that she’s in fact a he, in addition to her flat chest, boyish haircut and tomboy outfits. Do you think that Yun Eun Hye is manly enough to pull off her drag king role until the end?

i love Eun Hye so much..and she’s really a versatile actress..she really delivered well the characters that she portray in the drama.love it so much..I’m so very happy that Coffee Prince had a high rating.The drama really captured the heart of Korea even in other countries like Spain,Philippines,Indonesia,and many more.Eun Hye and Gong Yu really awesome in this drama.

For some odd reason, the scenes of her eating 4 bowls of Jjajangmyun just made me crave it. hahahha
hahahha… lol… i love this drama. what motivates me to keep on watching is YEH… dunno why even though her haircut and clothings made her to appear like a boy, but i still see her face as pretty as ever =)
ow… Gong Yoo’s smile also makes me to want to watch this series lol! (his laugh is mysteriously funny

although the plot is an awful lot like hana kimi [taiwanese version] yoon eun hye is a lot hotter [in any gender] than ella [go s.h.e!]. but ella sizzles on the dance floor and is cute when she wears make up.
coffee prince was actually the first of the eun hye shows I even watched.. I didn’t know she was so pretty as a girl
but then I saw vineyard man and goong and was like “oh.. wow she’s DAMN SEXY” and I’m a girl talking ^ ^” yeah. her face is actually really versatile.. she can be really sexy or really cute depending on how you dress her. ok I’m shutting up now I sound gay >_<
Really hah? am a girl too, but we can not resist to admire yeh. She got the magic beauty. Natural, We’re allowed to express our feeling about her. “our idol”. Very humble,respectfull and sophisticated lady. Gyo okay, but not with yeh..I voted him out for her no more. ;(
i think any kind of role will be perfect to YEH coz she so versatile.. a very good actress.. even for a man.. that is why i like her so much!!! I dont really like watching koreanovela ever since until i saw YEH one time in
