Why oh why do celebrities don on these atrocious looking clothes for a spray-painted helmet head of a designer? Ivy, Sohn Ho-young, Park Sol-mi, Jo Hyun-jae and Tim were models for Andre “the Alien” Kim’s fashions for the 2008 Beijing International Festival on July 12th.
some luscious fabric here, but the cuts are old hat:P andre prolly had quality in the past, some high-profile jobs. then he became an institution nobody questions anymore? young stars like the PR for modeling for him — yeah them, enablers! that leia hairdo looks like a mind control helmet, worn when you swarm in andre’s world!
For some reason…I’m reminded of Star Wars. o.o

talk about no exposure for Tim lol…but yea why do all his designs remind me of star wars.
His designs always remind me of food ^_^ mostly cupcakes and cakes with generous amounts of icing.
In any case, I’m actually digging that orange-pink women’s suit sort of thing. I’d wear it in a more modest color and sans the ruffles on the collar, sleeves, and pockets. And the skirt maybe but for some reason I like the ruffles on the skirt, it looks like an upside down cupcake ^_^ Also that pink dress is quite nice, color and all – that I’d wear to prom – though I wish the roses were a bit smaller.

Question: Fashion is about evolution, represenatation of a moment. Why is Andre doing the same thing at every show? He’s always doing star wars and sticks with the same fabric. I don’t get it.

I’ve always been a fan of Park Sol-Mi, since Winter Ballad…but she looks so different now…weird.
I liked the bottom part of Ivy’s wedding dress. She and Sohn Ho-young look good together. Though whenever i see ho-young i think, darn if only he were a little taller.
i personally think andre kim’s clothes are beautiful, just not such a great thing when people begin to wear them lol

I’ve got the same thought everytime i see Andre’s pieces..uhm high-faluting and unreal design. Most of his celeb mode are mega star and that helps heighten critisms for his swaying design. The makeup is just the same as his other past showes. Ivy, in the 1st photo, is quite identical to Lee Da Hye (My girl). Park Sol Mi is too tall to stand by Jo Hyun Jae. What a deplorable combination!
