Autumn Fairy Tale’s child actress, Lee Ae-Jung (20) passed away on Thursday after suffering from encephaloma, a brain tumor for 18 months. She was diagnoised last year when she went to the hospital and underwent two painful surgeries. Lee’s death shocked everybody because nobody was aware of her illness.
It was later reported that Lee Ae-Jung purposely asked the reporter who wrote about her illness to take it down, because she did not want others to worry about her. She also uploaded only cheerful pictures on her cyworld in an effort to prevent others from finding out about her condition. There’s no doubt in my mind that she was a sweet, thoughtful and considerate actress. Rest In Peace…
*Lee Ae-jung is best remembered for her role as young Shin-ae (later played by Han Chae Young) in hit drama series Autumn Fairy Tale.

From childhood, she was already a great and convincing actress… Not a lot of kids can pull off the kind of acting she did in Autumn in my Heart… May she rest in peace. It’s so sad when actors and actresses die when their still young. They are missed terribly.

I knew that there was something wrong with her. I can tell from those eyes of sorrow. She is a great actress and person. I think Ae Jung should que us in on her problem, so we can wish her well. I wish her family well. We will truly miss you Ae Jung. There is nobody like you. You are special.

I’m sad to hear about this. She passed away at a very young age and she was very strong for trying to cover her illness, not letting it to affect any one else. It’s terrible that there are so many cases of cancers nowadays.

Wow it’s so sad. I just watched half of that drama last night and then I came to look for more of her movie. I actually liked and sympathized more with her character than the main one. I didn’t know she passed away.

Autumn Tale was a big hit in the Philippines a few years ago! It is aired here every evening at 8:30pm that’s why many filipinos were shocked about her death! so unexpectedly!
