Did Rain ever give you the impression of being a “caveman?” Rain is many things, such as a dancing machine, Justin Timberlake wannabe, a shrimp eyed actor, a misinformed businessman, Pinky, a diaper lover, an amateur magician etc etc, but not a caveman. But PETA ( People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Asia Pacific) thinks so, which was explicitly stated in their open letter.
You have said that you want to show American women ‘how sweet and loving Asian men are’. Correct us if we’re wrong, but wearing fur is anything but ’sweet’ and there is no ‘loving’ way to rip the skin off a still-twitching animal. And although you have likened yourself to ‘SexyBack’ singer Justin Timberlake, you are anything but sexy for wearing the fur of tortured animals on your back.
I guess celebs are prone to criticisms if they wear any kind of fur, but the real question is will Rain ditch his fur after PETA’s criticisms? Does he care or is PETA over-reacting?

i dont get it. there are so many people who wears fur but he gets yell at for it, even though i am against you animal killer
I know that PETA can go “crazy” sometimes, but if you watched what they do to these poor animals, you would understand why they feel so strongly about it. I watched the video clip before on raccoon dogs (http://youtube.com/watch?v=lpZY9aB1Z5E) and it’s really horrifying how these animals die. I showed many people that video clip, and they all got sick to their stomach; doesn’t matter whether you are an animal lover or not. In the past, I heard about PETA bashing celebs for wearing fur, but back then, I’ve always thought they kill the animal first before skinning it. If that is the case, then I can understand. However, it is NOT! These animals go through it …the horrific pain ALIVE!

of course PETA would seek out the most well-known people they can find. if they only chastised the average joe, they wouldn’t get much attention from the public, and therefore, the message would be slow to catch on with the mainstream. to bring the most attention to your cause, you have to go for the biggest attention-getters you can find. that’s not an exclusive thing to PETA … a lot of other organizations do the same thing. now for drizzle … yeah, quit wearing the furs and leather. it’s disgusting that he thinks so little of a soul that he would condone the deaths of animals just to wear their skins. just one more mark against him in my book. and it’s all adding up real quick.

It’s true that shrimp-eyed actor comment is offensive and considered racist to many people now(most people think PETA said it). I think you’re responsible for it.

if its Calvin Klein he’s wearing then i doubt that its real fur because i see alot of Calvin Klein jackets and its def fake. Plus, real fur is really expensive and calvin kleins jackets are like only $100 to $200 each. That’s pretty cheap to be real fur isn’t it?
