It’s Coffee Prince star, Gong Yoo, saying goodbye to the crowd of adoring fans. The almost unrecognizable star has chopped off his signature mop to enter the mandatory 2 year military service on January 14th, 2008.

ok, it’s been more than 1 week of OMG’s…no more making fun of oppa, okay guys. Like I said, the dude is joining the military, he does not and will not look like a movie star, so just give the guy a break! I bet all of you ( me included) will drool again when we see oppa when he returns, fit and all. I bet you guys wouldn’t care then whether he’s bald or not!!!
I love him for his good acting and sincere character, no matter how he look now or in future.

Gong Yoo is the most gorgeous specimen of korean male I have ever seen in a long time, and I admire him so much. Despite all the showbusiness, he is a good actor. He did a particularly good job on the Coffee Prince, i felt his pain. Two years in the military is no joke! But I, as the president of his fan club, will be eagerly awaiting his return. I love you Gong Yoo!!!

FYI from YOOHOUSE ( a fan site) Gong Yoo is now stationed @DMZ; there will be no outside communications. He is healthy although he was sick with a bad flu early part of 2008. GY and his rep , SidusHQ, acknowledged and thanked the HUGE amount of fan mails sent to him. Unfortunately, he cannot write back, but he did send hs love to (us) all. How sweet.
