Part I: Paying last respects to Lee Eon

Model and actor, Lee Eon’s tragic and sudden death has come as a shock to the entire entertainment community. Family, friends and fans are still reeling in disbelief at the loss. The stars have been coming to pay their last respects to the actor at Soon-chun-hyung University hospital since the early morning. One of the first to pay respects, Yun Eun-hye arrived in tears as did fellow Coffee Prince co-star Kim Jae-wook. His co-star Eric received the phone call at soon after the accident at 3 am and headed directly to the hospital along with cast and crew.

More details are surfacing regarding the crash. The accident occurred at approximately 1:30 am. Soon after, emergency crews arrived and performed CPR, but the actor was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. The police suspect drinking was the cause of the accident, but Lee Eon’s manager maintains that the actor rarely drinks and usually gets driven around rather than taking the motorbike. Police are still trying to piece together what happened.

Lee Eon trained as a wrestler since elementary school until his 1st year of university. After losing 30kg, he switched careers to become a model. The model/actor also moonlighted as DJ Sangmin at Club Mass in Kangnam.

Funeral service and cremation will be held on August 23rd 2008.

it’s really a loss… so sudden and so young. he will be missed. it makes you wonder now if the reason why his k-dramas came in quick successions is for us to enjoy his work and to remember him fondly…

after hearing this i was shock coz just this day I unconsciously watched Coffee Prince again, i didn’t know that he passed away just this morning… his death was very sudden so even I just saw him in coffee prince and I can’t call myself as a fan but I like the way he carries the role I cried after reading the news… T_T

Sang Min, when i heard from Soo jing you are very well known and famous actor in Korea now..I was very glad..! because, you been through hard time when you were in Singapore! myself and all of your spore friends knows how heard your are during that period of time..especially Brent Cu.. he really helps u like his own brother..and we can never forget our friendship..

i read on other site his date of death is 21st august in korea which is yesterday happens to be my birthday that i celebrate sadly to cry over my pathetic life in 17 - supposed a sweetsweet 17 . all of my friends had’em a blast but i only teared for sorry myself. it means i did mourning for the dead too on my sicksweet 17.
