Every year I look on the calender to see how long the Chuseok (Korea’s Thankgiving) holidays are since the days change based on the moon calendar. And this year, Chuseok falls on the weekend-so Saturday to Monday (September 13-15). I feel ripped off.
Hopefully next year will be better.

Hi I love the Mid-Autumn Festival! In Singapore where i come from, the celebrations are kinda different from Korea but still same fest huh. I love the mooncakes we have back at home… the Korean equivalent are glutinous rice cakes I suppose? Anyways, the traditional costumes are cute! =)

Yeah, the 3 day “vacation” – i.e. ONE day – sucks this year….As for the Hanboks, they may look cute (some of them) but they’re not the most comfortable things in the world to wear. Talk about cumbersome.
