Finally! The cast for the drama based on the super popular Japanese manga, “Boys Over Flowers” has been finalized. The leader of F4, Tsukasa Domyoji will be played by Lee Min Ho (top left), Rui will be played by SS501 member, Kim Hyun Joong (top right), Soujiro to Kim Bum (bottom left) and, Akira’s role to Kim Joon of T-Maxx.
The Korean version of “Boys Over Flowers” is expected to air on KBS2TV in December 2008.

I’m down with Hyunjoong playing Rui’s role, but Kim Bum playing Soujiro’s… Now that’s a little bit off, cuz in the original, Soujiro was played by a really sharp, cool-edgy looking guy, and Kim Bum is just a cutie pie @_@… We’ll see how it goes…
And why does Kim Min Ho look so old… I hope it’s just the picture…
pretty good casting I guess. I hope this version is pretty decent. I’ve seen parts of hana yori dango and Meteor garden but never got around finishing them.

I hope the someone fresh like Sandara Park of YG Entertainment for her Debut, even we all know that she experienced how to act already in the Philippines but not that Good but I guess YG Entertainment consistently train her a lot in terms of acting… but if ever it will not be Sandara ill be happy that Korea will have its Hana Yori Dango / Meteor Garden Korean Version… I’ll for it!

At Sandara Park playing the female lead; you might be on to something there. Don’t know whose idea it is in YG to turn her into a popstar when, at best, she’d sound like Sohee of the Wondergirls(gawdawful) but, as an actress, actually, she ain’t too bad. In fact, I could even say, she’s good! And the other thing that would work in her favour is that she’s not exceedingly pretty(let’s face it, we all know those manufactured girl bands are mostly surgically enhanced) making the character more sympathetic and realistic. So I’d say, Sandara, go for it. FIGHTING!!!
I think the cast for Hana Yori Dango isn’t that bad but…
i think Kim Bum and Hyun Joong should’ve had the main lead roles…. i mean Min Ho looks decent but Kim Bum and Hyun Joong just outshines the other two dudes.

Oh man, Can’t wait for the Korean take of Hana Yori Dango. It’s going to be great! No one can do dramas like the Koreans. I like the look of Domyouji- he looks like a brat. And the guy who’s playing Ryu looks sensitive as he should.

The cast for the korean version is definitely much much better than the taiwan or japanese version….
Just by looks(since they are going to be the school ‘hot’ guys), korean F4 beats the taiwanese & japanese version…
Acting wise, i believe the korean guys can act…..why? i have seen dramas acted by young actors and they are much better in terms of acting. Japanese actors may not lose out in acting skills but they dont have the looks…
Acting - 1) Korean & Japanese version, 3) Taiwanese version
Looks - 1) Korean version, 2) Taiwanese version, 3) Japanese version…
Overall the korean version will win…! and hope the korean version will sweep the asia like what the taiwanese version has done…!!

I personally really thought that the guy that played Soujiro was good looking.
And I definitely thought that Oguri Shun is amazing. Also, Matsumoto Jun is actually really handsome, it’s just the curly hair totally killed him. If you google images of Matsumoto Jun w/o the curly hair, he looks absolutely gorgeous.
But I may be biased since I am half Japanese…
