The 2008 Asia Song Festival brought together different pop acts from all over Asia on a single stage. Luckily for us, that stage was in Seoul!
The mega concert was held over 2 days, October 3rd and 4th at the World Cup Stadium at Sangum-dong.
Here was the lineup: October 3rd: SHINee, 2AM, U-KISS (Korea), Berryz Kobo (Japan), Yoga Lin (Taiwan), Jocie Guo Mei Mei (Singapore), BX (Mongolia), PECK (Thailand), and Rynn Lim (Malaysia).
October 4th: TVXQ / DBSK, Girls’ Generation, Seung-Hun Shin, SS501 (Korea), W-inds, Anna Tsuchiya (Japan), Anson Hu (China), Fahrenheit (Taiwan), Karen Mok (Hong Kong), ICE (Thailand), Ho Quynh Huong (Vietnam), Rivermaya (Philippines), and Agnes Monica (Indonesia).
With 12 countries represented, this was the 5th year of the Asia Song Festival.

As much as i hate to admit (since i’m a great dbsk fan), youngseang of ss501 definitely has one of the best vocals in korea. Hyung joon not bad either, the rest are considered relatively okay. The only one who can’t sing is like hyun joong. Since the whole song you basically just hear young seang’s voice, maybe thats why they won it i think lol

Rivermaya’s not Indonesian. The rock bands from the Philippines can actually sing in English, and with no heavy accent, unlike some other bands in SE Asia(I’m not trying to bash peeps, but this is true fact)bwhahaha Can’t you see it says Philippines next to the band’s name. =P I don’t get why they are comparing Agnes to that of Britney Spears.
