[POPho] Will Smith in Oldboy

Oldboy_081113 (1)

Who cares that Will Smith is not Korean. The photoshopped pic of the U.S. actor onto Choi Min-shik’s famous pose in Park Chan-wook’s cult classic, “Oldboy” is just too funny.

If you missed it, “Oldboy” will be picked up by Steven Spielberg and Will Smith to be remade for Hollywood.

Since it’s a will smith remake, I guess it will either be called

I was lazy used to be the last in the class. My friend, however, was the best student in the next class. He writes good essays. I always borrowed my friend’s homework to copy his essays. Later, I modify a bit of here and there. I added proverbs, metaphors. Then, I learned how to paraphrase. The teacher knew I copied. My friends knew I copied. Everyone knew I copied. I kept quiet.

Soon, I became more and more confident in writing. I wanted to be different. I wanted to be unique. I read books, literature and magazines. I brushed up my vocab, diction and managed to grasp the art of writing. Finally, I began to write essays of my own. The teacher commented on my essays in class. Friends from other classes took take notice of my writing styles and enjoyed reading them.

Now, the friend whom I used to copy his essays wants to borrow my homework!

I should feel proud. Should I lend him my book? I can’t say no. I borrowed his last time. I shouldn’t negatively comment on his coming essays because he hasn’t even written it yet! I shouldn’t feel shaken because I am confident that my writing style will remain unique. If my friend writes a better essay than mine, I would just have to work harder to be better.

So, if there is anyone who wants to borrow my book, well, be my guest.

    Hey,

I loved the original, but if they want to spend 100 million to try to remake it, I will pay 7 bucks to go see it, if they do a good job I will be siked, if not, more people will go see the original. I also understand that the movie will follow the original Japanese comic more than the Korean adaptation of the comic, ….apparently they really are different. Also I agree with the comment that everyone said heath would screw up the joker role in batman, and he rocked it. Will smith is a good actor and Spielberg isn’t a rookie either, I will gamble my $7 and 2 hours on them. C u guys in the theater opening night! hahahah
