Jo In-sung and Joo Jin-mo get it on in the upcoming film by director Yoo Ha called, “Frozen Flower” (쌍화점). The trailer, just released today, is the talk of the town. In particular, the love scene where Jo In-sung looks longingly into Joo Jin-mo’s eyes and Song Ji-hyo’s sexy shots with Joo Jin-mo are the cause of the stir.
So will scandalous gay love scenes from the Joseon era bring crowds into the theaters? Probably.
“Frozen Flower” premieres on December 30th 2008 in Korea.

Well…. duh. Korean culture was quite influenced by the Chinese. Hangul the Korean blockish script we are used to was not even invented yet during the period the movie takes place. All that writing on that scroll is all Chinese characters. I don’t understand why people are so surprised. It is what Korea was like back then, so it’s still a Korean movie.

It’s just really weird to me. Taking gay romance, exploit it, be all excited about it, and then not accept and see that homosexuality is two consenting adults who are in love… Nothing more, nothing less. It’s strange.

Film looks interesting. From what Im inferring from the all too common trailer that shows TOO MUCH OF THE MOVIE (PLOT), seems like that pretty boy dude loves the king and queen?…or the king is gay and wants his friend to sleep with her?…..and is a spy instead? Good stuff man, I’ll download this when it comes out on dvd.
the stiry seems interesting,JJM and JIS grew up together and developed a mutual feelings to each other but JJM was forced to marry SJH and the night of their honeymoon he cannot have sex with her bcoz he is gay so he asked his bodyguard JIs to have sex with the queen and eventually JIS feel inlove with the queen and JJm got mad and the tragic lovestory story begins…wow i’ll definitely gonna watch this movie
