Showing a bit of island sexy, Son Dambi was in Bali for a fashion shoot and some R&R at the beginning of January 2009. The pop act posted up a few pictures from the trip on her Cyworld mini-hompy.
Son Dambi will start filming for her new Hollywood dance movie, “Hype Nation.”

This movie that Son Dambi will act in (Hype Nation) could have been decent, but they made a bad choice for the
Korean actress. She has been in a tv series called “We Got Married”. In the show, she is coupled with a Korean-Argentine guy (Marco) that is a model… his family is Korean, but he is learning the language (fluent in Spanish because he grew up in Argentina). Throughout the show Son Dambi shows how nationalistic she is and that she is really not willing to accept his differences. She is not able to accept his language, cultural differences, or personality. She clearly lets him know that she is “Korean style only” and isn’t willing to try and be a “multi-cultural”, open-minded person. She constantly corrects his language (and spelling) and tries to conform him to her “Korean” style…
I certainly have doubts that Son Dambi is ready to do anything in the US or anywhere besides Korea… and, it will be interesting to hear her English… I hope people do not critique her language skills the way that she did to Marco.
I think this was a really bad choice for a Korean actress.

But yeah, I’m starting to not like her on We Got Married…she’s so mean to Marco and is always criticizing him and puts herself above him. And granted, that whole thing is like scripted (what Korean show ISN’T?) but it’s still annoying…not that I’m a huge fan of Marco, either…the guy always looks so slum/messy…but she needs to chill. I wonder how HER English is…waiting on that fobby accent!
When will Korea learn not EVERYONE has to have mile-long legs, weighs 30 lbs, C-cups and a aquiline nose?
