The 19 year old athlete was featured in 15 commercials in the period of a year (May 20 2008?2009) in Korea, according to Ad Portal (Korea). Among the notable endorsements were Samsung Hauzen air conditioners, Maeil milk and LacVert cosmetics. The skating star reportedly raked in between 300 to 400 million (240-320 thousand USD) for a 3-6 month contract.
Second place for the runner CF queen/king spot is Lee Na-young with 14 commercials and actor Jang Dong-gun, also with 14.

ahhh, the sublime kim yuna. I usually find figure skating boring but to watch her on ice is amazing. To those of you who haven’t seen her skate you are really missing something. Go quick and watch them on youtube.
SO true! I find any sport boring to watch on tv but Yuna puts so much emotion into her skating that you fall for it.

Koreans go obsessed with too many things. Like with the world cup soccer, the swimmer park tae-hwan, the baseball team, and now her.
Gee, like Japan didn’t get obsessed w/ their baseball team, world cup soccer (and not just Japan’s team but Beckham and the English team), figure skater Mao Asada, etc.
Or what about the US w/ the trio of “blonde” tarts – Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton?
