During a radio appearance on Maybee’s “Turn up the Volume,” Park Bom of 2NE1 received a surprise phone call during the show from none other than Lee Hyori. The sexy pop diva gave the rising star helpful tips and hints on celebrityhood. Incidentally, the pair has known each other since the Samsung Anycall’s Anystar campaign.
And even after the radio show, Lee Hyori offered encouragement via text message to Park Bom. When Sandara heard about it, she complained on her Me2day that she also wanted a text from her idol Lee Hyori too.
Maybe mentioning that she wants to be more like Uhm Jung-hwa was not a good move.
Of course DARA is joking. DARA knows her place in 2NE1. BOM has a powerful voice. CL awesome rapper/singer. Minzy most all around talent awesome dance/rap/singer – Total Package Talent wise. Dara brings sweetness to the group (because the other 3 are so FIERCE) She has a sweet face and soft voice.
ye maybe dara is not the powerful vocalist or dancer but she got charisma and people love her shes the most popular in the group

jamieismyname, many Filipino like Dara because she loves us too. She became famous in the Philippines even though she cannot sing because she is very funny, pretty, good at heart and honest. She is a Korean but she is a Filipino at heart, she spent her grown up years in the philippines. And even though there were a lot of criticisms, jokes and mocking that she received from some Filipinos, she gave love and laughter in return. It is very rare even for other Filipinos to show this great love.
She is deserving of our love because she make us proud to be a Filipino.
i hate it when all filipino people love dara because she was a star back there..face it. she’s not as talented as other members..so u people keep on living in denial makes people hating on dara even more.. she’s an attention seeker…take a look on how she tries to act cute like all the time in 2ne1 tv.irritating.

We are not in denial, we can just find something deeper values in her than what is obvious. Dara knows that she cannot sing and so are we. It is not the singing, it is the the smile on her face and the joy that she brings. She has a greater talent of giving support, laughter and love to her fellow members. If you have not heard from her family, old and new friends that she is in real life funny and cute. She is different that she does not have to wear sexy and revealing clothes for people to notice her like other Kpop idols I have seen. She even tell jokes quietly and people just get attracted to her. She is naturally cute…

You’re right Dara is one of the best female celebrity in Korea and in the Philippines. She was joking at that time when she said that she also wants to receive a text from that artist. Bom has a good voice and star quality. But if you try see their performance and focus on Sandara you can notice that she stands out among the Rest. Not because she tries to be cute, its because she has lots of energy, enthusiasm , good face, kind heart and a good quality of voice. star quality is also one of the factor why she is famous.
