Way to take care of your things.
Apparently, the faux crystal trophy broke the day 2NE1 actually received it on Music Bank. 2NE1 got the honor on July 24th by placing number one for two weeks straight.
She posted on me2day that she has tried glue, superglue, and whatever else she could find to try to restore it, but alas, nothing helped. The CEO doesn’t know yet, and she’s not sure how to explain this to him without making him mad over their negligence.
In the long run, trophies don’t really matter, but they broke it in one day. Tsk tsk tsk.
Here’s the video of them winning. 2NE1’s “I Don’t Care” won by a really narrow margin against Girls Generation. You can see that the trophy looks like it was kicked down and the top fell off. Oh, the production value is so high on Music Bank.

It was so clear that bom placed the trophy on the floor to do the encore… and then either CL or Dara ACCIDENTALLY kicked it! I’m leaning more towards CL because she was on her way to middle to do her solo part, when all of a sudden bom and minzy’s OMO faces were shown in the background! Dara was closest to it… so she picked it up!
Anyways… dara is cute as always!
They already receive the honor in front of TV … that’s enough….Still remember the good old days when there’s gayo daesang and the trophy is like make of plastic, and they call it the top award in the year … sigh

I saw this youtube link posted on another site. Apparently, Leeteuk of SuJu also had a trophy incident of his own. The top already looked ready to come off right when they took it out of the box and it broke later on. Music Bank needs a better designed trophy.

Also when it was Dara`s solo she was not close to it , it was CL when she was walking in the middle to do her solo look at how CL is walking 2:46-2:47 she might kicked it. NOT DARA. I think it was broken when CL was doing her solo.

Right. You do know that she’s the most popular one out of the group right now and she’s helping to attract fans with her personality? It’s not all about talent, charisma plays a big role in the success of an idol group. All of the members of 2NE1 have their own charms to reel in the supporters.
ugh..why does it sounds to me that Popseoul hates Dara? seriously you guys never wrote anything really nice about her..i’m not saying you write bad things about her,but why the not-so-nice comments? ugh..whatever you guys are helpful and stuff but there are other sites out there too..like the unbiased ones?!

excuse me…DARA is not the one who broke the trophy..she is the one who pick the broken trophy which is Bom put it in the floor and CL accidentally kick it..i saw it very clearly…
even when dara picked up the trophy, you can see that she was really far from it, she had to bend her arm to reached it.
